Computer Science is a vast area which includes the majority of professional activities of the current professional scenario is being undertaken. Career opportunities are multifarious and therefore the department tries to meet the need of the career fulfillment of the students. Besides providing the Degree of Computer Science the Department also offers students the under graduation course in Computer Application too. The Department has the motto of providing academic caliber and professional efficiency to the students to meet the industrial expectations. 

The Department was initiated in the year 2006 and take seats are allotted for both Computer Science and BCA courses respectively. 111 students are pursuing their graduation in computer science and 154 students have been pursuing their under graduation in the Department of Computer Applications. The Department has an Assistant Professor 12 Guest Faculty to teach the subjects. The Department conducts many symposiums and encourages the students to participate inter-college academic programmes. Department of Computer Science has initiated the online teaching programmes for the students in the pandemic lockdown period.
